Solid Color Concrete Sealer is a fully tinted, opaque, medium sheen, water repellent, effective for use on concrete, masonry, and brickwork that will shed water and mud and protect against many stains. Recommended for application on walls, flooring, patios, walkways and concrete decking. Not suitable for birdbaths, bathtubs, showers and surfaces which are subject to pooling water, polished concrete, or garage floors due to hot tires and oil-stained surfaces.

    Description Solid Color Concrete Sealer is a fully tinted, opaque, medium sheen, water repellent, effective for use on concrete, masonry, and brickwork that will shed water and mud and protect against many stains. Recommended for application on walls, flooring, patios, walkways and concrete decking. Not suitable for birdbaths, bathtubs, showers and surfaces which are subject to pooling water, polished concrete, or garage floors due to hot tires and oil-stained surfaces.
    Preparation Good surface preparation is vital for the perfect finish. Surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from any dirt, dust, grease, glue, flaking pieces, sealers, curing and release compounds, or contaminants. Repair any cracks, holes, or imperfections where water can enter. Make sure that patching compounds will not show through the coating. New concrete must first cure for 28 days until the pH has stabilized. All concrete (new or old) must be etched sand/water blasted, or deep cleaned first – any residual liquid must be completely removed and the concrete allowed to dry thoroughly before sealing. Always spot test on an inconspicuous area to ensure satisfactory results and color.
    Application and Clean Up Stir thoroughly before and during use to eliminate any settling. Do not shake. Do not thin. Do not apply in temperatures below 50°F (10°C). Clean the area immediately prior to application. Dries to the touch in 30 to 60 minutes. Recommended wait time between coats is 4 to 6 hours. High humidity and cool temperatures may result in longer dry and recoat times. Do not apply if rain is anticipated within 12 hours of application. Light foot traffic possible after one hour, heavy traffic after 72 hours. Clean application tools with warm soapy water. When working with more than one can, we recommend mixing together the contents of the cans to ensure color consistency. Apply with a high quality synthetic bristle brush, or roll with a shed resistant ½” – ¾” roller cover, or apply using an airless sprayer with a 0.013” to 0.015” tip at 1800 to 2500 psi. Cut in corners or edges with a bristle brush, then evenly apply with a roller over the remainder of the surface working in one direction. Do not overwork the product. Do not allow pooling. Maintain a wet edge to avoid lap marks. Two coats are recommended to achieve maximum performance and protection. Avoid heavy traffic and replacing of furniture for 72 hours after the final coat. When replacing furniture, do not slide, and use felt protectors under table and chair legs to avoid scratching. Do not install rugs, or clean floors for seven days.
