Claims must be submitted to ECOS Paints in writing within seven (7) days of delivery.
Customers are responsible for inspecting and reporting any product issues, loss or damage at the time of delivery.
Deliveries should be refused if there is considerable visible damage to the boxes upon receipt
When damage occurs in transit, that is not visible upon receipt, we will evaluate the extent of the damage (Shipping Damage Claim) to determine if it falls within the parameters to initiate a claim with UPS.
UPS will discard product that is badly damaged, ECOS will initiate a replacement to you and file a claim with UPS
Paint leakage does not qualify as damaged product.
ECOS packaging is specified and tested by UPS to adhere to UPS shipping guidelines of transporting Paint
ECOS Paints will attempt to respond to all form submissions within 24 hours, Monday - Friday (excluding holidays).
Inspect and then note any visible damage on the delivery receipt when signing for the delivery. Be specific when describing the damage and avoid general terms such as “carton damaged”
Example: “Two single gallon cans containing Eggshell Paint, Color Nilla Vanilla”
