A Genius Gender Neutral Yellow Nursery

Lullaby 10/30/2014

When you close your eyes and think of a yellow nursery you might picture a room so bright that it’s hard to imagine your baby actually getting any sleep in it. This was the case for Esther of Buy Modern Baby who says, “I generally stay away from yellow. It’s not that there’s anything wrong with it, I just had an overdose of yellow a few years back. We moved into this house when I was 6 months pregnant. It was clean and move-in ready, but all the walls throughout (minus the bedrooms and bathrooms) were painted a sunny yellow. It was a bright shade that made it look like the morning sun was shining right in, even on a cloudy day, but it was impossible to decorate around.”

This isn’t the case when working with Lullaby Paints Morning Sunrise which Esther used as the base color in her new design board. She says that it “is a nice soft, buttery shade that is a beautiful backdrop for this fresh nursery.” We love how understated this room feels with it’s rich brown, gold, and periwinkle accents. Once again she has sent us something beautiful and unexpected using one of Lullaby Paints gorgeous shades.
