Eggshell Pet Dwellings Paint is a hard wearing protective finish that dries to a hard, washable, durable film.

Finish: Medium sheen
Water-Based: Non-toxic, VOC-free formula provides long-lasting protection without the harsh chemicals or odors found in conventional paints

Description	Pet-friendly exterior eggshell paint is a medium sheen, protective finish that dries to a hard, washable, durable film. Our pet-friendly eggshell paint is ideal for interior & exterior dog houses, reptile enclosures, bird cages and other animal habitats. Recommended for primed or previously painted metal and wood (additional information regarding painting metal can be found here). Not suitable for areas that are permanently wet.
Preparation	Surfaces should be clean, dry, sound, and free from dirt, dust, grease, and loose or flaking material. Clean stubborn areas with mild detergent. Rinse and dry thoroughly before painting. ECOS Paint is for primed or previously painted surfaces. We recommend using one of our primers if painting over a higher gloss finish, a darker color, applying an accent color or applying over bare or heavily sanded or scraped surfaces. Unpainted (or un-applicated) surfaces should first be primed to ensure an even color and consistency, before applying the paint. Recommended for primed or previously painted metal, wood, vinyl and aluminium.
Application and Clean Up	Under most conditions thinning is not necessary. Stir gently before and during use. Intermix if using multiple containers to ensure color uniformity. Apply two coats to pre-painted or primed surfaces and allow to dry for at least four hours before recoating. Hardening continues for up to thirty days. Avoid wetting, or scuffing during this period. Can be applied using a high quality synthetic brush, rolled using a tightly woven, shed-resistant 3/8” to 1/2” roller cover, or sprayed using an airless sprayer with 0.015” to 0.017” tip at 1600 to 1800 psi. Avoid applying below 50°F (10°C).
