Modern Nursery Designs Using Rose Quartz and Serenity
Pantone has announced it’s color of the year and surprisingly, it’s not one, but two beautiful new hues: Rose Quartz and Serenity. The response from the nursery design community has been very positive (especially since last year's Marsala wasn’t the easiest color to work with in the nursery). This is what Pantone has to say about the colors, “Joined together, Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.” Order and peace are always welcome in the baby’s room, so we expect these colors to be popular choices this year. To help inspire you, here are modern nursery designs using Rose Quartz and Serenity.
Esther from Buy Modern Baby created two design boards featuring the colors. She says, “Of course, when Pantone selected both a shade of pink and a light shade of blue this year, the obvious first thought was of baby girl and baby boy, but part of the point is to use the two colors together in less gender specific ways. Though we combined Rose Quartz and Serenity in this month’s design, we really couldn’t choose just one for the wall color, so you know we had to do TWO rooms!”
