Concrete Stabilizing Solution is used prior to painting a surface that is worn, chalky, or weathered. The solution bonds with the surface and provides a suitable surface to begin painting. It helps to reduce the crumbling and flaking of soft porous substrates like concrete, masonry, brick, mortar, or render. Ideal for use as a pre-treatment before painting. Will not remedy failing substrates. Not suitable for birdbaths, bathtubs, showers and surfaces which are subject to pooling water.

    • Recommended For: Surfaces that are worn, chalky, or weathered. The solution will bond with the surface and help to reduce the crumbling and flaking of soft porous substrates like concrete, masonry, brick, mortar, render, or plaster
    • You Need to Know: Apply prior to painting or decorating worn surfaces. Designed to reduce dust and flaking.
    • Not Suitable For: Birdbaths, bathtubs, showers and surfaces which are subject to pooling water.
    • Coverage: 350 sq. ft. per gallon | 87.5 sq. ft. per quart; 1 coat recommended
    • Application: Apply with a synthetic brush or roller. See Application Instructions below for more details
    • Storage: This product should be stored in a dry place, out of direct sunlight and in a temperature between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit

    Description Concrete Stabilizing Solution is used prior to painting a surface that is worn, chalky, or weathered. The solution bonds with the surface and provides a suitable surface to begin painting. It helps to reduce the crumbling and flaking of soft porous substrates like concrete, masonry, brick, mortar, or render. Ideal for use as a pre-treatment before painting. Will not remedy failing substrates. Not suitable for birdbaths, bathtubs, showers and surfaces which are subject to pooling water.
    Preparation Ensure the surface is dry and remove as much loose, flaking, or dusty material as possible.
    Application and Clean Up Under most conditions thinning is not necessary. Stir gently before and during use. Generally only requires one coat. Typically dries to the touch in one hour and can be recoated in two. Hardening continues for up to thirty days. Avoid wetting, or scuffing during this period. Can be applied using a good quality synthetic brush; or rolled using a shed resistant 3/8"-1/2" roller cover. Avoid applying below 50°F (10°C).
